KORDA ARTISTIC PRODUCTIONS is a home-grown theatre company in Windsor, Ontario that is dedicated to offering theatre shows that are extraordinary because of their provocative, challenging, and/or original content. We strive to promote local artists by providing a supporting and stimulating environment in which to further develop their talents. Korda’s productions are mounted on stage at the 115-seat KordaZone Theatre located at 2520 Seminole Street.

Synopsis:
Join us for a "Shakespeare-ish In the Park" experience with CHEER UP, HAMLET! Inspired by the works of William Shakespeare and packed with familiar songs and parodies, this goofy mash-up asks one important question: can anyone cheer up that melancholy Dane? Hamlet is depressed and searching for meaning, so he sets off on a journey of self-discovery. On the way, he encounters star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet, feuding sisters Kate and Bianca, gold-digging Petruchio, power-hungry Lady Macbeth, and even his old girlfriend Ophelia (who has yet to make it to the nunnery). Will Hamlet finally find joy? There’s only one way to find out!

Korda Announces Thrilling 2027 Season of “Mystery, Magic and Mayhem” Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Opening of The KordaZone Theatre - A Mix of Plays and Musicals including Four From-The-Vault Shows
In the midst of a fantastic, engaging and successful 2026 Season filled with amazing LIVE theatrical – often SOLD-OUT – performances, Korda Artistic Productions is announcing a diverse slate of shows for 2027 that features an offering for every taste, and is designed to help celebrate the milestone 20th Anniversary of the organization’s opening of its intimate home at The KordaZone Theatre in Windsor.
The season will include two separate, back-to-back, harrowing quests to the Underworld to wheel and deal with Hades; a 20th century drama reflecting on the horrors of conformity, totalitarianism, and mass hysteria; a murder mystery farce based on an iconic Hasbro board game and beloved 1985 hit film; a new and bloodthirsty comedy surrounding an ancient evil; a summer season of offerings that build theatre skills for youth alongside excitement for audiences; bookend Broadway blockbuster award-winning musicals that are true audience favourites across the globe; and four unforgettable offerings From-the-Vault at Korda; all delivered under the themes of Mystery, Magic and Mayhem! The full season will come to life on stage at the KordaZone Theatre on Seminole Street.
