Terry B. Ware (1962 - 2010)

"Terry's influence was huge; as an an actor he was incredibly generous and he shared his talent abundantly not just with the audience but with his fellow actors, many of whom learned a great deal fom working with him. His ability to ad lib and his amazing comic timing were inspirational. It was a joy to be on stage with him, to share his commitment to his art. He was a wonderful teacher. Recently he worked with some young actors and it was great fun to see how much they loved his energy and kindness while garnering the benefits of his experience. He was more than an actor. He was a producer, director, lighting/set/sound designer. He made a living for eighteen years running the Pelee Motor Inn dinner theatre with the help of Kevin Scott, often producing, writing, directing and starring in the productions. He joined Korda when we worked on The Rocky Horror Show and he has been an important part of our family ever since. In spite of the toll the cancer took on his body, he remained passionately involved with the company; his energy, soul, and talent unfailing even as he grew weaker. His last role was as Henry in The Lion in Winter. Anyone who watched his performance can attest to his brilliance as an actor and his courage as a man.
